Groundwork Contracting Oxfordshire

In August the groundwork team started a new job of a steel frame cattle shed in Oxfordshire. To begin with we created a new track which leads to the new shed, which once finished will be concreted. The steel frame shed has now just arrived so they team have been working hard the last couple of days to start erecting the shed.

The groundwork team have been finishing off the residential properties in the village of Oakley. The houses have been slowly getting finished in between other jobs we have been focusing on which has worked well for everyone. Recently they have finished the final patio and laid the turf which finishes off the outside. We are very proud of how smart the gardens look with the fencing, patio and grass.

We were asked to rejuvenate an old barn near Oxford. We started by taking the old sheeting off the roof. While this was off we treated the rafters and purlins with preserver. We supplied and fixed barge boards to the sides and then re-sheeted the roof with new sheets and finished with updating the existing guttering.

Earlier this month the groundwork team have been in Buckinghamshire erecting a lean-to on the side of a stable block. This area will now be used as an undercover wash station for the horses. We do lots of equestrian builds from stable blocks to horse ménages.

Grain Store Storage and Services

The grain stores are now full and outtakes are now slowly happening. Neil has been having a post-harvest sort out; he has been fixing some pieces of equipment which needed some TLC from the busy harvest. Along with having had some beans, oats and wheat in for cleaning which are now all done.

Colour Sorter South East

We continue to spread awareness on what colour sorting services we can offer. If you have any questions please do give us a call. As long as the grains aren’t too similar in colour we can help with colour sorting the grain.  We want to enhance the crop value as well as avoiding cost penalties and increase the premiums paid to growers.
